The Academy provides structured online learning, practical assignments, assessments, mentoring and, where applicable, access to real event-based industry opportunities for eligible students.

By enrolling in the programme, accessing programme content, submitting assignments, participating in assessments or accepting an industry opportunity, the student acknowledges that they have read and understood these Terms & Conditions and agree to comply with them.

Programme Overview

The programme is designed as a structured online learning experience intended to build practical understanding and industry readiness in event management.

  • ●Learning duration: 3 months / 12 weeks.
  • ●Learning mode: 100% online.
  • ●Core learning includes recorded lessons, practical assignments, quizzes/checkpoints and assessments.
  • ●Limited group mentoring sessions may be conducted during the programme.
  • ●The post-course model includes a six-month industry exposure and internship opportunity window for eligible students.
  • ●Industry opportunities are event-based and are not equivalent to guaranteed daily office attendance for six months.

Programme Access & Learning

  • ●Students are responsible for having suitable internet access and a compatible device for online learning.
  • ●Programme access may be controlled through the Academy’s learning platform or other systems selected by the Academy.
  • ●Modules may be released according to a scheduled learning plan.
  • ●Students are expected to complete lessons, quizzes and assignments within the applicable programme requirements.
  • ●Programme content may be updated when necessary to maintain relevance, quality or operational accuracy.

Assignments, Assessments & Completion

The Academy uses assignments, quizzes/checkpoints and a final readiness assessment to evaluate student completion and preparedness.

  • ●Students are expected to submit required core assignments.
  • ●Students must meet the applicable passing or completion standards set by the Academy.
  • ●A student’s completion of the programme does not automatically create a right to an industry opportunity.
  • ●The Academy may require pending work or reassessment where the applicable readiness standard has not been met.

Industry Opportunity & Internship Terms

Industry exposure is designed around actual event requirements. Eligible students may receive access to suitable real event-based opportunities during the applicable opportunity window.

  • ●Eligibility is based on programme completion, assignment submission, assessment performance, student profile information and professional conduct requirements.
  • ●Opportunities depend on actual event requirements, location, role requirements, availability and operational capacity.
  • ●When applications exceed available positions, selection and rotation criteria may be applied.
  • ●Selection may consider role fit, location, previous opportunity count, past performance, availability and discipline.
  • ●Selected students may receive event-specific reporting time, dress code, contact person, role instructions and event rules.
  • ●Students may be required to submit an event learning report and may receive a performance record after an event.

No Guaranteed Internship, Employment or Event Count

Enrolment in or completion of the programme does not guarantee internship placement, employment, freelance work, stipend/payment, a particular role, a particular number of events, or an opportunity in a particular city.

The Academy does not represent that every student will receive the same number or type of event opportunities. Opportunities are dependent on actual requirements and capacity.

Student Responsibilities & Professional Conduct

  • ●Students must communicate respectfully with mentors, coordinators, vendors, clients, event teams and other students.
  • ●Students must provide accurate information during registration and programme processes.
  • ●Students selected for an event must follow reporting times, role instructions, dress requirements and applicable event rules.
  • ●Students must maintain punctuality, responsibility, professional communication, teamwork and appropriate conduct.
  • ●Students must not engage in behaviour that may damage the reputation, safety or operations of the Academy, Ground Zero Events, clients, partners or event teams.

Event Attendance, Cancellation & No-Show

When a student accepts an event opportunity, the student is expected to honour the confirmed reporting time and agreed commitment. Late cancellation or no-show may affect future opportunity priority.

Specific cancellation, no-show, attendance and expense rules may be communicated separately for each event opportunity and will apply to that opportunity.

Travel, Accommodation, Stipend & Expenses

Because industry opportunities vary by event and location, travel, accommodation, meals, stipend, payment and other expenses are not automatically included unless specifically communicated for the particular opportunity.

Students should not assume that the Academy will provide travel, accommodation or a local opportunity in every city.

Fees & Payments

Programme fees, payment schedules, instalment arrangements and any applicable taxes or charges will be communicated through the applicable admission or payment process.

Students should retain their payment confirmation and programme-related transaction records.

Certificates

Where the Academy provides a certificate, eligibility for the certificate will depend on the completion criteria communicated for the programme. A certificate does not by itself guarantee employment, internship placement or any particular career outcome.

Intellectual Property & Course Content

  • ●Programme Materials are provided for the enrolled student’s personal learning use.
  • ●Students must not reproduce, resell, redistribute, publicly upload, commercially exploit or share paid programme content without written permission.
  • ●Students must not record, copy or circulate Academy lessons, assessments, templates or other protected materials for unauthorised use.
  • ●Ground Zero Academy retains its rights in its original educational content, branding, templates and materials, subject to applicable law.

  • ●Unauthorised sharing of account credentials or paid course access.
  • ●Copying, reselling or distributing programme content.
  • ●Misrepresentation of association with Ground Zero Academy or Ground Zero Events.
  • ●Harassment, abusive behaviour, discrimination, threats or deliberate disruption of programme or event operations.
  • ●Submission of fraudulent, plagiarised or intentionally misleading work.

Programme Changes

The Academy may make reasonable changes to lesson sequencing, mentors, schedules, learning resources, platforms or operational processes where required. Such changes may be made to improve delivery, maintain quality or respond to operational circumstances.

Suspension or Termination of Access

The Academy may suspend or terminate a student’s programme or opportunity access where there is a serious or repeated breach of these Terms, misuse of programme content, misconduct, fraudulent activity or behaviour that creates a material risk to students, staff, clients, partners or event operations.

Disclaimer & Limitation of Liability

The programme is intended to provide structured education, practical understanding and a pathway toward industry readiness. Career outcomes depend on individual performance, skills, conduct, market conditions, opportunities and other factors outside the Academy’s control.

The Academy does not guarantee a specific job title, salary, employment, freelance assignment, internship placement, number of events or other particular career outcome.
